1. Introduction / Acceptance of Terms

1.1 These Terms of Service (“Agreement”) govern your access to and use of the website located at money.wiki (the “Site”) and any related applications, features, widgets, e-mail notifications, or other services provided by money.wiki (“Services”). (“We”, “our”, “us” refer to money.wiki.)

1.2 By accessing, downloading, or using the Services, you agree to this Agreement and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree to all of the terms of this Agreement, do not use the Services.

1.3 You represent that you are at least 18 years old, or, if acting on behalf of a business or other entity, that you have the authority to bind that entity to this Agreement.

2. Use of Services & Disclaimers

2.1 Informational Purposes Only. Our Services are provided for general informational, educational, and comparison purposes. They may include guides, calculators, articles, product or service comparisons (e.g. financial products), user discussions, or third‐party offers (“Service Providers”). We do not provide personalized financial, tax, legal, or investment advice, and our content does not take into account your individual circumstances. Before making decisions based on information obtained via the Services, you should consult a qualified professional.

2.2 Not a Service Provider. We are neither a financial institution nor an insurance provider, lender, credit card issuer, or other Service Provider. If you choose to deal with third parties (“Service Providers”) through our Site, those relationships are solely between you and the third party; we are not responsible for the terms, performance, or compliance of such parties.

2.3 Third‐Party Links & Advertisements. The Site may contain links to third‐party websites, advertisements, or offers. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, legality, or quality of any third‐party content, services or products.

3. User Accounts, Information & Security

3.1 If a portion of our Services requires registration, you agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information, and to maintain and update such information as necessary to keep it accurate.

3.2 You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account or your login credentials.

3.3 You must not allow minors (under 18) to use the Services via your account, and you are responsible for all activities carried out under your account.

4. User Content, Feedback & Forums

4.1 User Content. Some Services may allow you to submit content (comments, reviews, forum posts, etc.) (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content, but by submitting it you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, fully paid license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, distribute and display such content in any media.

4.2 Prohibited Content. You agree not to post or transmit any content that:

  • Violates any law, regulation, or the rights of others (copyright, trademark, privacy, defamation, etc.);

  • Is obscene, abusive, harassing, hateful, threatening, or otherwise objectionable;

  • Contains viruses, malware, or other harmful or disruptive software;

  • Is false, misleading, fraudulent, or defamatory;

  • Constitutes spam, commercial solicitation, chain letters etc.;

  • Infringes proprietary rights of any person or entity.

    4.3 We reserve the right (but are not obligated) to review, remove, or refuse any User Content at our sole discretion.

    4.4 Feedback. Any suggestions, feedback, or ideas you submit regarding our Services are non-confidential and we may use them without obligation.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 All content on the Site (articles, designs, graphics, logos, software, “look and feel”, etc.), whether owned or licensed, is our property or the property of our licensors.

5.2 You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to view, download, print, or otherwise use materials from the Site for your personal, non-commercial use only, provided you maintain all proprietary notices.

5.3 You may not copy, modify, publicly display, distribute, create derivative works of, or use the content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

6. Fees and Premium Services (if applicable)

6.1 Basic access to the Services is free. We may offer premium features, tools, or other paid Services, in which case we will notify you of the applicable fees before purchase or subscription.

6.2 If you subscribe to or purchase any paid Service, you agree to pay the fees, along with any applicable taxes.

6.3 We may change the fees, remove or add features, or modify payment terms. Such changes will be posted, and continued use of the paid Service after notice constitutes acceptance.

7. Limitation of Liability & Warranties

7.1 No Warranty. THE SERVICES, CONTENT, MATERIALS, AND INFORMATION ON money.wiki ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND (EXPRESS OR IMPLIED). We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy.

7.2 Limitation of Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither money.wiki nor its owners, affiliates, licensors, or partners will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages (including loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption), even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

7.3 Cap on Liability. If there is any liability under this Agreement that cannot be disclaimed, that liability shall be limited to the lesser of (a) the amount you paid for access to the Services (if any), or (b) [a nominal amount, e.g. US$100].

7.4 Time to Bring Claims. Any cause of action arising out of your use of the Services or this Agreement must be brought within one (1) year after the cause of action accrues; otherwise it is waived.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless money.wiki, its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, and licensors from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to:

  • Your violation of this Agreement;
  • Your use of the Services;
  • Your User Content;
  • Any transaction with a Service Provider via the Site;
  • Any breach of your representations or warranties.

9. Modification of Services & Amendments to Terms

9.1 We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time without prior notice or liability.

9.2 We reserve the right to change or update this Agreement from time to time. We will post the updated version on the Site and update the “Last updated” date. If you continue to use the Services after the changes are posted, you are deemed to have accepted them.

10. Governing Law, Dispute Resolution & Arbitration (if applicable)

10.1 These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of [State], without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

10.2 Arbitration. All disputes arising out of or relating to this Agreement or your use of the Services shall be resolved by binding arbitration, except where prohibited by applicable law.

10.3 Class / Representative Claims Waiver. You and we agree that disputes will be resolved on an individual basis, and that you waive any right to bring class, collective or representative actions.

10.4 Opt-out. If you wish to opt out of the arbitration provision, you must notify us in writing within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, by sending an email to our legal department at [legal@money.wiki] with your name, address, and a statement that you are opting out of arbitration.

11. Miscellaneous

11.1 Electronic Communications. By using our Services you consent to receive communications from us electronically (via email, notices posted on the Site, etc.). These satisfy any legal requirements for written notice.

11.2 Your Equipment & Costs. You are responsible for obtaining any devices, internet access, electrical or data charges needed to access and use the Services.

11.3 Severability. If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be struck, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

11.4 Entire Agreement. This Agreement, together with the Privacy Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and money.wiki regarding the subject matter hereof, and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings (oral or written).
